LATAM Cybersecurity Benchmark Report
A consolidated read on Latin American cybersecurity posture, staffing, budgets, AI adoption and vendor dynamics — built from proprietary assessments and cross-referenced with global research.
Across 4 responses, LATAM organizations score 14/100 on average, driven by capacity and constrained by resilience. Security budgets are growing at 9.4% YoY, yet the region trails global peers on efficiency ratios.
Verified responses come from partner-run events with attributed contacts. Anonymous responses are self-reported and shown separately in the distribution. Both feed the aggregate baseline.
Sources. This report combines three data layers: (1) verified event responses from partner-run LATAM sessions, (2) anonymous self-serve assessments (marked unverified), and (3) proprietary LATAM cybersecurity metrics derived from benchmarks, curated field research and analyst interviews.
Scoring. Posture scores are computed from the same 15-indicator assessment used across every session — comparability is enforced by design.
Confidence. With 4 responses in this edition, several dimensions carry directional (not statistical) confidence. Country and industry breakdowns should be read as signal rather than population estimates until n ≥ 30 per cohort.
External benchmarks. Verizon DBIR, Gartner, WEF, ISACA, DigiAmericas and equivalent sources are cross-referenced but never republished — links point to the originals.
